David Danquah
David Danquah Chief Executive Officer

David Danquah is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Village Advisors LLC and Global Village Health LLC. David in addition to running the firms day-to-day operations he is also responsible for overseeing the firm's business development and deal management efforts. David is the point of contact for the firm with respect to capital advisory services. Prior to GVA David worked in the capacity of an investment banker at Wall Street's premier Leveraged Finance Franchise. David created complex financial models to evaluate the pro forma impact of debt financings on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, refinancings, and other financing transactions on capital structures and operations. He played a key role in Structuring, arranging and syndicating leveraged loans and high yield notes for corporate and financial sponsored backed clients within Consumer & Retail, Natural Resources and Technology, Media & Telecom sectors. David has developed a solid credit background and due diligence experience with highly levered and distressed firms. David hold a bachelor's degree economics and an MBA from top-tier institutions, Bates College and University of North Carolina, respectively.

Joseph Addo-Yobo
Joseph Addo-Yobo Managing Director - Head of Global Healthcare Finance

Joseph Addo-Yobo runs GVA's healthcare advisory practice and plays a key role in supporting efforts related to deal origination, due diligence and advisory services for healthcare cllients in Africa.

Joseph possesses a unique combination of technical, management, and interpersonal skills that make him a vital resource for private sector health programs. In addition to his in-depth understanding of both the private and public sectors across Africa, sound scientific background as a pharmacist, and strong relationships with all major health stakeholders in-country and throughout the region, he has become one of the principal African resources on the design and implementation of private sector health programs in developing countries.

His areas of expertise include: improving access to financing, scaling up use of essential health commodities, facilitating technology transfer, social and behavioral change communications, NGO capacity building, design and implementation of innovative Base of the Pyramid strategies, policy dialogue, regulation of private health sector providers, business development services to health entrepreneurs in developing countries, and quality improvement.

He also serves regularly as a facilitator and/or member of various technical committees in Ghana, Nigeria, IFC/World Bank, and USAID.

Victor Ocran
Victor Ocran Managing Director - Global Head of Transaction Advisory

Victor W Ocran (aka Winston) is the Global Head of Transaction Advisory Services at GVA, where he is primarily responsible for actively managing the entire deal process from client management, due diligence, oversight of investment marketing materials, thru transaction close. Victor is an experienced finance and management professional, with several years experience working with fortune 500 companies in the United States. Victor started his career with General Electric (GE) in their globally recognized finance leadership training program; Financial Management Program (FMP), working with senior management teams across various businesses. After GE, Victor worked with PerkinElmer LAS helping the company develop and strengthen systems and processes within the finance and sales group.

Victor has a solid banking career in commercial and corporate banking, providing financing strategies (debt) for blue chip middle market companies at Bank of America. His banking experience covers business development and relationship management, origination, structuring, credit and risk management, and portfolio monitoring.

Victor brings international experience working in Ghana, West Africa as a consultant advising clients across diverse industries. He has worked with clients in technology, agri-businesses, real estate, hospitality and tourism and retail in Ghana and Nigeria.

He is a graduate of Temple University, Philadelphia, PA and The Tuck School of Business, Hanover, NH where he received his undergraduate and MBA degrees respectively. He has to his credit various leadership training certifications among other certifications in various disciplines and has served on boards of local not-for-profit organizations. He has a passion for entrepreneurship and helping medium sized companies grow and expand.

Oyeyinka Oyelaran
Oyeyinka Oyelaran Managing Director - Head of Global Real Estate Finance

Oyeyinka ("Yinka") Oyelaran is a seasoned domestic and international real estate professional with over 14 years of experience.  Yinka heads up GVA's Real Estate Finance practice and his primary responsibilities include cultivating relationships with clients and investors on a variety of client engagements such as real estate development advisory, investment / divestment strategy mangaement, capital raising and restructuring.  Yinka's is GVA's residential real estate expert and his substantial network of developers, financial and banking relationships ensures successful delivery for each of Global Village's client deliverables.  His extensive knowledge of debt, equity markets and real estate to design, present and manage compelling projects for investors / clients throughout the world. 
 
Oyeyinka began his career as an Deutsche Bank in the debt and real estate division of the investment bank. After graduating with an MBA from UNC Kenan Flagler, Oyeyinka worked at Alliance Residential, a national developer positioning itself for international expansion, as the Director of Business Development and was tasked with leading both domestical and international fundraising efforts.

Michael Boakye-Danquah
Michael Boakye-Danquah Business Development Director

Michael Boakye-Danquah is GVA's Global Business Development Officer. Michael is primarily responsible for managing new and existing client relationships under GVA's capital raising services. Michael is also a managing partner at The Danquah Law Group provides expert advice and representation to meet the specific immigration needs of high net worth clients globally with respect to EB5 investment visas. Given the complexities and ongoing changes made to US immigration hundreds of clients trust the Danquah Law Group to provide meaningful solutions supported by thorough due diligence and knowledge of the law. Michael plays a critical role in Global Business Development and has championed various initiatives to enhance the client engagement process at GVA. Michael holds a J.D from St. Louis University School of Law, an M.B.A from Lindenwood University, a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts, and a B.S.C from Morehouse College distinguished with honors. In addition Michael is the co-inventor of two United States Patents. He has been admitted to the U.S. Federal Court for the northern district of Georgia as well as to the Patent Bar. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Georgia Bar Association, and the Missouri Bar Association.
